Introducing the Huawei nova 11 SE: A Sleek Smartphone with Impressive Camera Technology

Introducing the Nova 11 SE, Huawei’s latest smartphone, as the company extends its presence in the mid-range smartphone arena. This sleek device made its debut on the company’s website, boasting a remarkable 108 MP primary camera and an impressively slender design. Notably, the official specifications sheet revealed that this phone does not support 5G connectivity.

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 680, a chipset exclusively supporting LTE connectivity. The Snapdragon 680 is manufactured using the advanced 6 nm process and houses a 2.4 GHz CPU. Curiously, the amount of RAM onboard remains shrouded in mystery.

The device features a remarkable 6.67-inch flat OLED panel with a 10-bit color depth and Full HD+ resolution. It also boasts a 90 Hz refresh rate and provides comprehensive coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. A single punch hole at the center accommodates a 32 MP selfie camera, capable of recording videos at up to 1080p resolution.

Huawei’s nova 11 SE showcases an extraordinarily slender profile, measuring just 7.39 mm in thickness. Despite its svelte form, it maintains a weight of 186 grams and is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery. Remarkably, this smartphone supports 66W fast charging, enabling it to charge from 0% to 100% in a mere 32 minutes. The charger and the necessary cable are conveniently included in the retail package.

Running on HarmonyOS 4, the nova 11 SE seamlessly integrates with a family of more than 100 million devices already running the new operating system. HarmonyOS 4 brings an array of enhancements, including an overhauled notification center, improved permission management for potentially risky applications, and the addition of a Live Window for expanding ongoing tasks, all accessible directly from the notification bar.

Notable features also include NFC with the option to securely store card information for offline payments, a dual nano SIM slot, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The Huawei nova 11 SE is available in three striking colors: Green, White, and Black. Pricing starts at CNY 1,999 ($273/€257) for the 256 GB variant and goes up to CNY 2,199 ($300/€285) for the 512 GB storage model. Pre-orders are currently underway in China, with the first sale set to take place on November 3.

On the downside, the nova 11 SE does not support Google services or applications, which might be a deal-breaker for some users. Furthermore, it lacks a 3.5 mm headphone port and does not allow for memory expansion, meaning you can’t augment its internal storage capacity through additional memory installations.
